Washington II Washington is an annual hiking adventure taking city kids from Washington, D.C., Southeast Michigan, and New Orleans on a week-long camping trip to climb mountains and explore some of the country’s most beautiful wilderness areas. Along the way, these kids will see animals they didn’t know existed, swim in fresh, crisp lake-water rather than the local pool, make their own S’mores as we all tell ghost stories around a campfire they’ve just learned to make, learn camping and wilderness skills, and, best of all, explore the Great Outdoors!

Your help and generosity is the key to giving these very deserving kids the trip of a lifetime. Please contribute in whatever ways you’re able to, and please sign up for our monthly email list — we’ll share pictures, videos, and stories from this year’s trip to Bolar Mountain and Lake Moomaw in Virginia’s George Washington National Forest. To help fund this trip, visit our IndieGoGo page!
