Washington To Washington is an annual hiking adventure bringing city kids from Washington, D.C., Southeast Michigan, and New Orleans on a week-long camping trip to climb mountains and explore some of the country’s most beautiful wilderness areas. Along the way, these kids will see animals they didn’t know existed, swim in fresh, crisp lakes, hike through lush forests, make their own S’mores as we all tell ghost stories around a campfire they’ve just learned to make, learn camping and wilderness skills, and, best of all, explore the Great Outdoors!

Your help and generosity is the key to giving these very deserving kids the trip of a lifetime. Please contribute in whatever ways you’re able to, and please sign up for our monthly email list — we’ll share pictures, videos, and stories from this year’s trip to Lake Moomaw, Bolar Mountain, and the George Washington National Forest in stunning Southwest Virginia.
